Emek designs coverwork for Erykah Badu’s upcoming album.
Visual artisti, Emek, teamed up with Erykah Badu to create the album artwork for her 5th studio album, New Amerykah Part. 2: Return of the Ankh. Emek also produced the cover art for her previous album, New Amerykah Part 1: 4th World War. The artist states, “My previous album cover I made for her focused on politics and social conditions in the world today….this album is more personal.” We can look forward to the release of Badu’s album March 30th.
